Sponsor ground rules.
How sponsorship works on Paid On Time, what sponsors get, and what money can never buy.
1. Every paid placement is labelled
- Sponsor cards are always marked Sponsored, and open slots are marked Sponsor spot.
- Each sponsor card carries a short note that it is a paid placement and not a recommendation.
- Links to sponsors are marked as sponsored links for search engines.
- Placements sit beside our content, never inside a guide's advice, a template or the playbook steps.
2. One sponsor per category
There are 4 categories and each has room for one sponsor at a time:
- Invoice finance: an invoice finance or business lending provider.
- Bookkeeping: a bookkeeping or accounts receivable service.
- Legal: a commercial law practice.
- Debt collection: a reputable third-party Australian collection agency.
The pages where each category appears are listed on the sponsor page.
3. What sponsors can and cannot influence
Sponsors choose: their logo, a one-line description of their business and the link we use.
Sponsors cannot:
- write, review, edit or approve the playbook, guides, templates, calculators or directory;
- pay for a directory listing, a ranking or a mention inside our advice;
- ask us to remove, soften or add information, including about their own industry or competitors;
- see or receive subscriber details, which we never share with anyone.
4. Editorial independence
- Our content is written by the team behind GCS Community, based on decades of credit and collections experience and checked against official sources.
- The directory lists official government and industry resources. Its entries are not for sale.
- If a guide covers a type of service a sponsor offers, it is because readers need that information, not because of the sponsorship.
- Paid On Time and GCS do not collect debts or provide finance, bookkeeping or legal services. GCS is no longer operational. Sponsors are independent third parties.
- If we get something wrong, we fix it, whoever it affects.
5. How we vet sponsors
Every sponsor gets a quick review before going live. We check that the business:
- is an Australian business that is operating now, with an Australian address, ABN or licence shown on its own website (we note any overseas parent company);
- offers the category's service, shown on its own website;
- works with small and medium businesses, not only large enterprises or consumers;
- has no regulatory or reputational problems that we can find.
We can decline any application. If we can't accept you, we refund you in full. If a sponsor later breaks these rules, we will raise it with them first, and we may end the placement.
6. Prices, GST and cancelling
All prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST. GST (10%) is added at checkout, and payments are handled securely by Stripe. The same prices apply in every category.
- Founding: A$594 + GST paid upfront for your first 6 months (A$99 a month + GST). After that it rolls on monthly at A$99 + GST until you cancel.
- 3 month: A$447 + GST paid upfront for your first 3 months (A$149 a month + GST). After that it rolls on monthly at A$149 + GST until you cancel.
- Month to month: A$199 + GST a month until you cancel.
For founding and 3 month terms, Stripe shows the upfront term as a "trial" on your subscription. That is only how Stripe labels it: the term is already paid, and your first monthly charge comes when it ends.
You can cancel the monthly roll-on any time from the link in your Stripe receipt, or by emailing hello@paidontime.org.
7. We publish our numbers
Sponsors see the same audience figures as everyone else, on our numbers page. We never estimate or inflate them.
